Navigating through the complexity and bureaucracy of Special Education is overwhelming and can be emotionally draining; taking time away from you being the parent that you desire to be. I will aid you in developing a team to champion for your special needs scholar. Showing you the ropes and making you aware of the rights of you and your scholar along with the options that are at your disposal. Through this, a detailed and manageable IEP or 504 is formed. A federal document that if done correctly, can follow and aid your scholar throughout their educational career.

I am a full-service Advocate that is here to help you and your family navigate the needs of your Exceptional Scholar.

 

The Process.

  • Step 1.

    I have a consultation with the parent, this is free. In this meeting we discuss concerns and desires regarding the scholar(s). Once we have agreed to moved forward an ROI (release of information) and Agreement is sent via HelloSign.

  • Step 2.

    Once both documents have been ratified and returned to me, I will move forward and send the ROI to the district and request all files and documents regarding your scholar. If there is NOT an IEP scheduled, I request an IEP meeting at this time.

  • Step 3.

    Once I have read over your scholar's files and documents, I set up another meeting with the parents/guardians to discuss my finding and next steps.
